Product Description

Conveyor Pulleys:
Conveyor pulleys can be divided into three categories based on different load: light type, normal type and heavy type. Large torque pulley is made from the turbine and cast welded steel structure. The connection between pulley and shaft can be key jointed structure or distensible cover structure which will profoundly reduce the total weight of the pulley and shaft weight and can be disconnected easily.


Conveyor pulleys adopts the CO2 gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding, and the welding seam is inspected by ultrasonic and X-ray. The surface of shunda Conveyor driving pulleys is vulcanized with herringbone and argyle rubber lining. Before shipping, the pulleys need to take static balancing test to get minimum rotary resistance. The bearing house of SHUNDA conveyor pulleys is the split structure which ensures its simple maintenance. 

Conveyor Driving Pulleys 
Driving pulley is the main part to convey driving force. SHUNDA driving pulley is divided into light sized, middle sized and heavy sized pulley. The diameter varies  from 500mm, 630mm, 800mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1400mm, 1600mm.We can provide different shaft diameter under the same pulley diameter for users and designers. SHUNDA pulley is available for the range of B=500-2400 and the resultant force rang from 5KN to 1650KN.

-- Light sized: the shaft diameter is 80-100mm. The shaft and hub is single plate welded structure connected by single key, and the shaft can be extended outside the shell in one end.
--Middle sized: the shaft diameter is 120-220mm. The shaft and the hub are connected by keyless locking device.
-- Heavy sized: The shaft diameter is 200-400mm or larger. The shaft and the hub are connected by keyless locking device. The pulley is cast welded structure. There are two types: the single end extended shaft and two end extended shaft.
The driving pulley surface is bold steel and can be casted with herringbone and diamond rubber lagging.


Conveyor Bend pulleys
Conveyor Bend pulleys is used to change the direction of conveyor and increase the surrounding angle between the belt and driving pulley. Same with driving pulley, SHUNDA bend pulley is also divided into light sized, middle sized and heavy sized according to its carrying ability. The diameter division is 50-100mm, 120-220mm and 200-400mm. It has the  same structure with the driving pulley. Its surface also has the cover of bold steel, herringbone rubber, diamond rubber and smooth surface vulcanized rubber.


The bend pulley is used to change the operation direction of belt. It should be placed on the tail end or take-up device when changing the direction with 180°while placed on the upper side of the take-up device when changing the direction with 90°.Surface-increased pulley is generally used to change direction with less than 45°. Bend pulley can be selected according to belt width and resultant force.

Pulley production techniques
Conveyor pulleys are manufactured by strictly implementing the following steps:
--Cutting: The light tracking cutting machine ensures cutting accuracy.
-- Welding: CO2 gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding guarantee the reliable quality.
--Non-destructive testing: The welding seam will undertake non-destructive testing by ultrasonic and X-ray to ensure the welding quality.
--Annealing: Annealing treatment should be taken to eliminate the internal force.
--Static balancing: Static balancing test should be taken after assembling to ensure pulley's service life.
--Vulcanized rubber casting: All the pulleys should take vulcanized rubber. We have professional vulcanized workshop, equipment and technology. Besides we are equipped with special devices specializing in cutting herringbone and argyle pattern. They can secure us to provide high level precision pulley: the excircle runout displacement is less than 0.2mm (Better than the required 0.5mm for high quality products in national standard).
